Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the mining, processing, and trading of gemstones. This includes, but is not limited to, laws governing labour, environmental protection, human rights, and anti-corruption.


Ethical Sourcing of all Gemstones

G Collins & Sons places significant importance on the ethical sourcing of all gemstones. Suppliers are expected to:

a. Ensure all gemstones are sourced from legal and responsible mining

b. Respect the rights of indigenous communities and local stakeholders
in areas where all gemstone extraction occurs.

c. Prohibit the use of child labour or any form of forced labour in the
extraction, processing, and trading of all gemstones.

d. Support environmentally sustainable practices in all gemstone mining and processing, minimising the impact on ecosystems.



Suppliers must provide transparent and accurate information about the origin of all gemstones, including disclosure of the mining location, extraction methods, and any potential social or environmental impact associated with the gemstone supply chain.

Fair Labour Practices

Suppliers are required to uphold fair labour practices, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for all employees. This includes compliance with wage laws, working hours, and the prohibition of discrimination, harassment, or any form of abuse.


Continuous Improvement

G Collins & Sons encourages suppliers to continually assess and improve their practices related to the ethical sourcing of all gemstones. This includes adopting best practices, staying informed about industry developments, and actively participating in initiatives that promote responsible sourcing.



Suppliers are accountable for ensuring that their subcontractors and business partners also adhere to the principles outlined in this Supplier Code of Conduct. Non-compliance may result in the termination of the business relationship with G Collins & Sons.

Any violations or concerns related to this Supplier Code of Conduct should be promptly reported to G Collins & Sons. We are committed to investigating and addressing such matters with the utmost seriousness.
