Launched in 2011, Reference 5270 stands as the heir to several generations of Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs. The Manufacture now reinterprets this iconic timepiece with a model that blends timeless elegance with a distinctive character.
Crafted in platinum - the most precious yet most challenging metal to work with - the case is elevated by a concave bezel, refined two-tier lugs, and correction push-pieces that are satin-brushed on the sides and polished on top, showcasing exceptional attention to detail.
The perpetual calendar displays are arranged with perfect harmony: a hand indicates the date alongside a moon-phase display at 6 o’clock, while a twin aperture at 12 o’clock reveals the day and month. Two additional round apertures provide day/night and leap-year indications.
At its heart beats the calibre CH 29-535 PS Q, a manually wound movement that combines traditional chronograph architecture with six patented innovations and an exceptionally slim perpetual calendar mechanism.
