A paragon of visual harmony and legibility, the perpetual calendar model Reference 5320 was originally introduced in 2017 in a white gold case with a cream-lacquered dial. Its vintage-inspired aesthetic is now reimagined in a new white gold version, featuring a gilded opaline rose-gold dial.
The calendar displays follow the classic layout that has characterised Patek Philippe’s perpetual calendars since 1941: a twin in-line day/month aperture at 12 o’clock, and a date indicated by a hand encircling a moon-phase display at 6 o’clock. These are complemented by two round apertures - a day/night indicator between 7 and 8 o’clock, and a leap-year cycle display between 4 and 5 o’clock - both designed to assist with precise calendar adjustments.
The moon-phase mechanism is exceptionally accurate, requiring correction by just one day every 122 years.
